"Free Event Planning Service Contest" 
 

Events by Jennifer is giving away a free Event Design and Coordination Package valued at up to $3000 to lucky couple planning to be married within a 75 mile radius of TEMPLE, TX.

 

You may enter by writing to Events by Jennifer about your Event and why your event deserves to win free event design and planning services in 750 words or less. 

 

Please include the following details:  Date and Time of event, Anticipated Number of Guests, Location of Event, Approximate Budget, brief description of Event Style (if applicable). 

 

You can email your story to Booking@EventbyJennifer.com with “Event Planning Giveaway” in the subject line, or mail it to Event Planning Giveaway, c/o Events by Jennifer, 417 N. 8TH ST, TEMPLE, TX 76501.

 

Event must take place within 12 months of winning the Contest.  Only one entry per person.  

 

Contest starts 01/01/2010 and Ends 03/31/2010. 

 

Event design and planning services include but are not limited to:

 

· Initial meeting to determine event style, budget, details and needs

· Budget analysis and management

· Timeline to event and monthly updates

· Vendor and venue research

· Scheduling vendor meeting and assisting with selections

· Review vendor contracts

· Maintain regular contact and communications with vendors

· Menu and beverage recommendations

· Invitation wording and guidance

· Complete event design

· Rehearsal assistance

· Complete orchestration of entire event/party/ceremony/reception

· Assistance with transportation arrangements

· Accommodation arrangements

· Guest list management and seating arrangements

· Day of coordination, set-up and strike

· One fully trained coordinators on site for event day management

· Design and distribute day-of itinerary to on-site vendors and other specific individuals

· Assistance with placement and management of various event details (ie: decor, guest book, floral, favors, menu cards, table and escort cards, gifts, etc.) Gather and return to designated individual items to be returned to host (not responsible for items missing or broken).

The wedding workshop was created to help the bride in the planning process, from defining the wedding style, working out the budget, selecting the ceremony and reception locations, to selecting vendors, and creating a timeline for the wedding day.
 

Discuss bridal fashion, décor option, practical tips, current trends, expert advice and more.  Local professionals will present useful information about their segment of the wedding industry. Brides will have an opportunity interact with these professionals by way of Q & A sessions, open forums and panel discussions about various topics. THE Wedding Workshop is designed to put real information into the hands of serious brides to achieve successful results throughout the entire wedding planning process and beyond.


You will also receive a list of vendor referrals-professional wedding vendors that have the experience to make you wedding day a great success!

The WBPE will hold monthly luncheons or general meetings in major towns and cities throughout the Seattle, Bellevue, Kent and Renton. These MEETUPs will bring together the African American Community to both promote their businesses and expand their network of local and regional resources in a very dynamic and structured two hour session.

Meetings are held monthly in various venues and are mandatory.

 

As Business owners and Professionals, you will get various opportunities to market your business, services and/or products to interested people.

FUND RAISER COMMITTEE

Person(s) that are interested in joing the BP Fund Raiser Committee are encouraged to attend.

 

The S. B. P. Fundraising committee is working to plan events that will creatively raise money for our Black Youths and Community. This committee will write local businesses and citizens about sponsorship opportunities, and apply for grants. Many hands make light work so if you have a great idea to share, want to plan an event, or just want to lend a hand, we need you!


The Goals of W. B. P. E. are:

To provide internship opportunities for our Youth
To provide Career Training/Career Mentoring programs
To provide sport scholarships to underprivileged youths
To provide Education Scholarships to underprivileged youths
To provide mentors and Big Brother/Sister
